31-year-old, Cathy Ruela, from Morris Plains won $1.3 million playing the online slot game Millionaire Genie. Cathy says she began playing last February when she received 20 free spins at the 50-cent online slot machine game. Her first game won her $300. The win took place at HarrahsCasino.com on Nov. 6 where the exact total was $1,334,641.22. It was the first seven figure online prize in New Jersey since online gambling became legal in New Jersey in November 2013. Cathy plans to pay off some debts, put some away for her son's college, and take a vacation. Not bad for someone who says she is not much of a gambler.
