Fortunium Slots

Whenever Microgaming comes up with a new slot to play, you must simply check it out. Fortunium is one of the latest releases to be added to their vast collection, and it takes on a different appearance compared to the one you might expect. It has a steampunk edge to it, a detailed if vague cityscape background, and plenty going on when you load the reels too.

Reels and win lines

The game does have five reels, but each one shows five icons, making it larger than you might have expected. The paylines aren’t obvious, but there are 40 of them, all of which are fixed.

Coins to bet with

There is an ample range of coins here, enabling bets of between just 10 cents and $125 to be made.

Fortunium special symbols

There are two smartly-dressed characters in this slot – Maximilian and Victoria. Both appear stacked on the reels, so they can show up as full-height characters.

Watch for a square icon to appear with a circle inside it – it looks a bit like a dial on a safe. This has a W inside it for wild, and that is the role it plays. Only the green scatter symbol (looking much like a porthole with a glowing green center) cannot be substituted by that wild icon.

Bonus features

Mystery icons can appear on any spin. If they do, they can change into another symbol, except for the scatter. If this occurs, you could trigger a win when none would have been possible.

Three or more scatters will award you 10 free games. Mystery symbols will appear in these spins as well. Three, four, or five triggering scatters turn the reels two, three, and four to mystery symbols respectively, awarding one, two, or three reels of them as they do so. Additional scatters add more freebies to your total as well.
