Reels and paylines
This five-reel game has four positions on each reel. It’s not obvious from the game screen, but the paytable reveals 40 lines are in use.

The smallest total bet is 40 cents, and you must bet on all paylines. You can max out your bet at $100 per spin, too.

There are several tall icons in this game, one of which is a wild. This shows several cute baby meerkats wearing blue baseball caps. This replaces everything else shown with one exception, the cute little blue door. This is a scatter.
Is there a bonus feature or two to play?
If you find three blue doors in a spin, occurring anywhere on the screen, you’ll win five free spins. These cannot be triggered again. It’s a small number, but still good to have.
There is another feature built into Meet the Meerkats, too. This is a Hold and Respin feature. If either the father, mother, or daughter meerkat should appear on the first reel, showing in its entirety, it will remain fixed in place and the remaining reels will spin again. This gives you a shot at getting other reels to match the first, and to trigger another prize. It also makes up for the lower number of free spins if you trigger those.
We should add that when we triggered this feature, the other partially-appearing meerkats on the reels also locked in place for the respin. This wasn’t mentioned, but it’s good to know.
