Disco went out years ago, but here we are treated to yet another taste of it in Playtech’s new game, Cosmic Disco. This seems to indicate an outer space theme, and since there are lots of stars in the background here, along with what could be a monster or alien of some sort, maybe that’s the case. Let’s dive in closer to see what else Cosmic Disco slots hold in store for us.
The game begins with the usual 5 x 3 format in play, giving enough room to fit in 25 win lines. There is the classic mirrorball to spot here, and this is used as the scatter symbol. If this should appear on reels one, three, and five at the same time, you can win free games. The wild is a spaceship, so there is indeed a space theme married to the disco one. Very unusual, yet the mix works quite well. As you’d expect, the wild stands in for everything but the scatter here. Other symbols include some cute aliens and drinks – just what you’d expect at a Cosmic Disco, we guess!
When you reach the free games feature, you’ll discover the wild is sticky whenever it appears on the middle three reels. Wilds also stay locked in place, and there are further wilds appearing on the fifth reel as well. Playtech has done a nice job here, putting what are essentially two themes together into one.
