Hot Sync is a simple enough slot game, designed with very clear and simple icons in play. All the controls are at the bottom of the five reels, and it soon becomes clear you can wager your bets on 20 paylines. The game includes two wilds, one of which is a regular wild using just that single word to show itself. The second is a Hot Sync wild, and whenever you see two or more of these appearing on the screen, you will get a Hot Sync respin.
This respin is really cool, because the reels the wilds appeared on to trigger the respin will be hot. This means they spin in unison, so whatever appears on one reel will also appear on the other(s). You also get more wilds than usual in this respin. If you get one or more new Hot Sync wilds appearing in the respin, you get another respin. The process continues until you run out of new Hot Sync wild appearances.
There is also a scatter, and the reason for including this is clear – it is labeled ‘bonus game’. So, three or more of those appearing anywhere while you play a single spin will trigger eight free spins. These scatters will only ever show up on the middle three reels of the game.
