Most people are familiar with The X Files, a popular American TV show that is now enjoying a comeback. We’re not sure how long that comeback will last, but we do know Playtech has got the rights to release its official X Files slot game. The game includes a standard 5 x 3 layout and 20 betways, but there are some intriguing features included here as well. Scully and Mulder, the two main characters, appear as the highest-paying symbols. You also get multiplier wilds, where any prize involving one of these will be multiplied by the face value shown. This will be either x1, x2, x3, or x5. The paytable explains the multiplier wilds spin beneath the reels so you cannot see them. But if a rift lands on the reels, those multipliers will be revealed.
The game also has spaceship scatters, and three or more of these will award Locking Rift Free Games. You’ll win seven, 10, or 20 free games for three, four, or five scatters.
