This is an odd one, because the title appears over the top of a monster-type entity that doesn’t look too scary… even though it probably should be. ELK is responsible for the look and development of this slot, and Kaiju certainly demands your attention. It uses an Oriental theme but does so in a way we’ve not seen before. The Asian street acts as an interesting background and the characters appearing on five reels hover over this. It is very modern looking and unusual for that.
There are wilds involved here too, not to mention an opportunity to see more rows involved as the reels get bigger. This depends on how the game progresses, with up to 7,776 ways to win available if you progress through the stages of the game. It turns out Kaiju is a name referring to a Japanese creature. These are huge creatures and they have gems growing on their skin. We sure hope this is a legend rather than reality…
With a complex and unusual story behind this game, Kaiju will appeal to any slot player who likes to play Asian-themed slots. It will also appeal to those who are keen to play games with ever-increasing chances of wins as they progress. It won’t be for everyone, but it would be a real shame not to give this one a try.
