Fire and Steel Slots is a great name for a slot. This one comes from Betsoft, and they have added the tempting subtitle War of the Wilds, too. When you load the game, you will no doubt be impressed by the presentation, not to mention the graphics. The screen itself is different from what you might expect, too, since it has five reels with five icons on the middle one, four on each of the second and fourth reels, and three on the two end reels. This design makes it more interesting, but there are still only 20 lines in play.
The game includes a Swordsman, and when he appears he can trigger a wild beam to spread above or below his position. The Shield Maiden does the same horizontally, so you get additional wilds on one side of her (but not both). If they both appear on the reels simultaneously, you must watch to see if their two beams collide. If they go through each other, 10 free games are awarded. The icon where the two beams cross each other will be wild for the free spins.
There is a regular wild in action too, and this is the word wild with red mist behind it. That’s about it for this game, but Fire and Steel has those wilds that might appear thanks to the two main characters, and an interesting way of triggering the free spins, too. Who needs a scatter symbol?
